Umpire Program

DIXIE Umpire CLINIC schedule for

Sunday January 27 at 2 pm at Tenderfoot Primary School. 

This clinic is MANDATORY for all boys umpires.

Qualifications:

1.  Must be 17 years of age or older for 7/8 and up; 15 and 16 for tball.

2.  Must have experience/knowledge of baseball, not necessarily umpiring.

3.  Must attend a Dixie clinic at your own expense ($20) to learn Dixie rules for all ages of baseball.  Opportunity to attend an ASA clinic for umping softball ($60).

4.  Must provide your own shirts/protective gear - light blue shirt with black collar.

5.  Games scheduled will be in Sanger and Valley View, with possibility to go to Krum as well.  Towns to umpire in is your choice.

Dixie Baseball in Sanger is played on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and some Saturdays from March 29 until June 5, 2008.  Tournaments will be umpired by 17 yr olds and older, who have had a solid record during the season.

You can work as many games as you would like throughout the season.  I will be happy to work with your "real life" schedule.

Pay Schedule:

Tball (ages 4- 6):  $20/game (one umpire)

7/8 League (coach pitch):  $25/game (one umpire)

9/10 League (kid pitch):  $25/game (two umpires)

11/12 League:  $30/game outfield; $35/game home plate

13/14  League:  $30/game outfield; $35/game home plate
